Quality Control
To develop proprietary formulations every
manufacturing unit should have QC Lab, where the
safety and efficacy of permutations and combinations
of different herbs are studied and established
finally as an exclusive and efficacious product. The
Quality of the final product depends on the quality
of individual herbs used in a preparation. Each herb
used in a formulation is tested for its exact
identity and absolute quality, so that the final
formulation yields the desired results. Different
physical and chemical tests are performed on the
samples of final products to maintain uniformity and
to rule out any undesired results. AH these measures
for control of quality and development of new
products are devised and implemented by and under
the surveillance of qualified medical professionals.
The Quality Control laboratory is well equipped with
all the necessary equipment for the requisite
physical and chemical tests in efficient skilled
hands.
Manufacturing
The manufacturing unit of Good Shepherd
Pharmaceuticals is "GMP" certified meaning that all
the preparations of this Pharmaceutical Company
confirm to the national standards of production. The
unit strictly meets the parameters specified by the
Drugs Control Authority and has been following the
most scientific processes in the manufacturing and
highest standards of hygiene stringently to achieve
the desired results. We intend to preserve the
natural and traditional goodness of the formulations
even during large scale productions therefore many
nuances are tried during the manufacturing processes
like - Classical preparations are manufactured as
far as possible in the exact traditional way by
paying attention to minute details. . . like the
type of firewood used for the preparation!
International standards of hygiene are maintained in
and around the unit and at every stage of
manufacturing, packaging and dispatch of products
Packing
All the preparations are available in the most
hygienic and attractive high quality virgin plastic/
glass containers confirming to international
standards with clear mention of manufacturing and
expiry dates of the said preparation.
Marketing
We are presently
catering to people in a very limited area and
through selected outlets and practitioners in Kerala
and are underway for availing our products in
Maharashtra and Gujarat. Our products are on the way
for export to Middle East. We are on the look out
for clients who are willing to open new avenues of
operation for our products in other states of India
